Animation Workshop

Ages 7 to 14

The Animation Workshop program, suitable for children aged 7 to 14, seeks to maximize children’s creativity whilst using very accessible and easy-to-use software.

Students are the writers, special effects techinicians, and directors or  their own films, learning the basics of stop motion animation, computer aided animation and sound editing throughout this course. Our emphasis for each animation piece is the development a story, so students are encouraged to plan out their plot in advance and to prepare props if necessary.

In addition to increasing students’ general understanding of animation, this course will augment time management and team working skills, while also enhancing attention to detail.
