Architecture Workshop

Level 1 – 2 (Ages 7 to 14)

Students can learn what it takes to be an Architect with hands-on exploration! This course explores the principles of stable and movable structures. Students will discover many structure concepts including stability within bridges and towers, forces on structures, and strength of materials. They discover these concepts by designing and building structures from various materials, such as LEGO, string, and computer. By building a variety of models, students can determine what is the best shape for the job.

Students learn about structure, function, strength, stability, forces and loads by investigating bridges and towers. It is ideal for developing design and problem-solving skills.
